Humour removes stress and emotional embarrassment, increases motivation and encourages creativity. With both creativity and humour, we experience a "paradigm shift" when we suddenly see things in a new way. Creativity and humour are close, because both humorous and creative ideas are often unexpected, yet logical in hindsight.
