Soloing is a term I first came across in Harriet Rubin's book Soloing. Quite simply soloing means working for yourself - not owning a small business with a few employees, not being a contractor but working on your own as a one person company. I can relate to it - I am a soloist. I've added it as a new category as I find more and more people doing it or wanting to go alone. There are not too many documents on this site that relate to this category yet - but I expect it to grow.
