According to analyst IDC, 28.9 million professionals will work outside the office for at least one day a week by 2005. In the UK alone, 6.9 million people will be mobile or teleworkers by 2005.
To my mind this is a stunningly high figure and a strong indicator of just how much the workplace is changing.
