The European Conference on Intellectual Capital was established 9 years ago and has been held in countries across Europe, including Spain, Slovakia, Finland, The Netherlands, Cyprus and Italy. The conference is generally attended by participants from more than 25 countries and attracts an interesting mix of academic scholars, practitioners and individuals who are engaged in various aspects of Intellectual Capital research.
A number of journals including the Electronic Journal of Knowledge Management consider papers presented at this conference for further development and publication. ECIC 2017 is being held at the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL) on 6-7 April and the Conference Co-Chairs are Professor Ilídio Tomás Lopes and Professor Rogério Serrasqueiro.
Video: Knowledge Cafe at KM Egypt 2010
This video was taken at KM Egypt in September 2010 where I was invited to run a Knowledge Cafe.
It is probably one of the best videos that not only describes my Knowledge Cafes but where you also get to see it in action and hear some of the insights from the people taking part.
Note: the room and the tables are not the ideal setting for a Knowledge Cafe nor is the reporting back process but often the Cafe needs to be adapted to fit the room and the number of participants.
You will find information on hundreds of events such as conferences, workshops and courses on this website - events that relate to the themes of the site: knowledge, learning, creativity, innovation and personal development.
