Do your little bit of good where you are; its those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.

Both the Gurteen Knowledge Café and St Ethelburga's are committed to inquiry, story telling, and conversation to help change perspectives, for change to happen in the world.

Society and organisations are people, its people who change the world and the start point of the change is us!

We are all different. We all have different concerns, skills and passions.

The purpose of this series of three events is to discuss the changes we would like to see in the world, be it our society, our organization , our family, ourselves or our world.

And then to move on and to decide, each as individuals, what we are prepared to take responsibility for, to commit to and to contribute to, however small, towards making this change happen.

The idea is for each of us to start to take a little more responsibility then we currently do and start to move along a path to something better.

The exercise is a little bit of an experiment and if successful will be used as a blueprint for future similar events.

The three sessions and their themes take place on the following dates. The value in this programme is in attending all three events but if you can't do that then participating in just two of them is fine. (There is only 1 registration form for all 3 sessions, so complete the form and put a note in the comments box about the one you cannot make.)

Judith Mills, Chris Smerald and David Gurteen will faciliate the sessions.
  1. Thursday 1st October 2015 : What is the change that you would like to see in the world and how do you think you could contribute to that change?
  2. Monday 2nd November 2015 : What do you need to develop within yourself as a preparation for the change you woud like to see?
  3. Monday 30th November 2015 : What relationships do you need to develop and what actions to do you need to take to move your ideas for change forward?
Each session will start at 18:00 for 18:30 and finish between 20:30 and 21:00

Donation: A charitable donation to St Ethelburga's of £10 for each session is requested. That's £30 if you participate in all three sessions. You can make your donation here.
