Ellen Langer is a professor of Psychology at Harvard University. She is author of several books including Personal Politics, The Psychology of Control and Mindfulness and has written many journal articles. She has also edited a number of books such as ‘Higher Stages of Development’ with Charles Alexander. In addition she has received awards for Distinguished Contributions to Psychology in the Public Interest and Distinguished Contributions in Basic Science to the Application of Psychology.
