I immediately took to the book as I read the passage above on the back cover. I have not travelled as widely or lived in as many different cultures as Sally and her co-author Gary Yardley but having spend almost 3 years as an ex-pat in Cambridge Mass, I understand the impact of living in another culture on your personal development. I certainly would not be doing what I am doing now if it wasn't for that experience and I would encourage anyone to get out in the world and become an "International".
