Interest continues to grow in the Knowledge Cafe process and many people around the world are running the Cafes or variants of them.
These Cafes have often been inspired by a Gurteen Knowledge Cafe or other Cafes such as the The World Cafe.
The purpose of the Knowledge Cafe is to facilitate open conversation and there any many tools and techniques that enable this. In its broadest sense this includes World Cafes, Open Space, Appreciative Inquiry, After Action Reviews and Anecdote Circles to name but a few other tools and techniques.
I know many people are running Knowledge Cafes and that a lot of knowledge and experience in running them and the use of similar conversational tools such as those I mentioned above has been built up.
In order to share this knowledge and to learn from one another I am planning to set up a Knowledge Cafe Facilitators' Forum. I am not too sure what form this will take as yet - maybe a Yahoo or Google Group or even a FaceBook Group but if you would like to be kept informed please sign up below and I will keep you alerted of developments.
If you have any initial thoughts, comments or ideas, please include them in the comments field.
