The 2006 international OLKC Conference is the first in a new annual series based on a merger of the previous, highly successful OLK and OKLC Conferences. The 2006 OLKC conference provides an excellent opportunity to build on the achievements and scholarly traditions of these previous events, and to create new interactions across the different perspectives that have helped to make the study of organizational knowledge and learning one of the most vibrant fields in the domain of organization and management research.
The 2006 OLKC conference welcomes theoretical, empirical and combined theoretical and empirical contributions to the academic papers track.
The Practitioner Track is designated for the presentation of more experience-based and application-oriented papers. In this track practitioners will share their experiences of managing knowledge, developing networks and capabilities and facilitating learning in a practical context.
A PhD workshop is directed to the special needs of the work-in-progress of PhD candidates and will begin on the evening of Sunday 19th March.
Extended 1000 word abstracts and proposals for panels/symposia and innovative session formats to be submitted via the conference website by the new, extended deadline of Friday 30th September 2005.
