This is for my benefit as much as yours as it provides me a single place where I can keep a record of the tools that I use and notes about their use and peculiarities. For downloadable tools it also keeps a record of their source and allows me to regularly check for updates. You might also be interested in a sister section - KM Tools - which is dedicated to soft KM tools and social tools such as weblogs and wikis.
