I am delighted to announce that for the fifth year I will be running a Knowledge Barbecue at the University of Greenwich Business School on the evening of 20th June thanks to our host Martyn Laycock of the London Knowledge Network.

Those of you who have been before know that the event is much more of a social gathering than a Knowledge Cafe. But this year we plan to do something a little different by starting off the evening by meeting in a local pub (the Admiral Hardy) and then taking a walk up to the Greenwich Observatory before coming back down the hill to Queen Anne's Court and the barbecue.

The evening will start from 6:00 pm onwards in the pub and will leave for the walk about 6:45 pm arriving at Queen Anne's Court in time for the barbecue about 7:30 pm. If you wish to just come along to the barbecue about 7:30 pm that is fine also.

Date: Wednesday 20th June 2006 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Hosts: Martyn Laycock, London Knowledge Network

Location Address:
University of Greenwich Business School
Old Royal Naval College
Park Row
Greenwich
London SE10 9LS

Location Maps: Queen Annes Court, Admiral Hardy

Detailed Directions to Queen Anne's Court:
The barbecue will be held in the Queen Anne Court close to the river.

Enter the college campus through the West Entrance. Look on the map. The road marked as "COLL" is actually College Row and leads directly from the Cutty Sark DLR station (Ottakars Book Shop). If you look eastwards form there you can see the large Wrought Iron Gates that are the West Entrance to the campus. If you walk the whole length of the central campus walkway you will find Queen Anne's Court on the left hand side.
