Google Maps is a free web mapping service application and technology provided by Google that powers many map-based services including the Google Maps website.
But one of the best features is the ability to create and annotate and store your own maps with Google My Maps.
Google allows you to link to these maps but for some reason it does not allow you to embed them in your own website or blog. But this free tool does.
I have used it below to embed a map in this page of where I live. At the moment I am only using it on my contact page.
