Considerando que las TIC en el sector productivo surgen de la aplicación de la economía digital, sustentada en conocimiento e información, a la infraestructura y los procesos de producción y comercialización de bienes y servicios de la empresa, la Temática de GC&C 2008: “Cadenas Productivas Soportadas en Tecnologías de Información y Comunicaciones”-TIC- analizará el impacto internacional de las nuevas modalidades de participación económica e interacción social con productos, labores y medios de vida hasta ahora desconocidos, al introducirse nuevas formas de comunicación, registro, acceso, emisión, recepción, transmisión y control del conocimiento y la información.
En concreto GC&C 2008 planteará, sustentado en la presentación de conocimientos y experiencias TIC, sobre el qué, cómo, cuándo, por qué, quién, dónde y cuanto se deben fortalecer las plataformas TIC en busca de la articulación de los diversos actores del quehacer nacional para la reactivación económica, la productividad y la competitividad, utilizando las nuevas tecnologías sustentadas en TIC.
