To: London Knowledge Cafe Members and Gurteen Knowledge Community members in and around London I am sure you know that I am a big fan of Theodore Zeldin and how his work has influenced my Knowledge Cafes. Well, I have just learnt that he is holding an event at the Barbican in London on Thursday evening (14 December). If you are interested in coming along take a look here and book a ticket £6 online/£9 on the door. And indicate on Facebook that you are coming so I can look out for you as of course I will be there. Have you ever thought that there could be more to your conversational life? Historian and philosopher Theodore Zeldin hosts an evening of conversations on progress. Participate in stimulating interactions with people you have never met, and be inspired and provoked. Zeldin is author of An Intimate History of Humanity and President of The Oxford Muse. I have seen Theodore speak before, he is a very interesting guy and it should be a fun evening! best wishes David David GURTEEN Gurteen Knowledge Fleet, United Kingdom Tel: +44 1252 812 878 Mobile: +44 7774 178 650 PS.
