An update on David Gurteens trip to South Africa in November 2008Monday 23 June 2008 22:21 GDT |

To: Gurteen Community Members in South Africa I am writing to give you a brief update on my planned 'tour' of South Africa in November Louise van Rhyn has been working hard to plan the trip and tells me that over 110 people have been in contact with her - I am amazed! (btw my apologies if you have already received this note from Louise). Anyway, it looks as if I will start off in Gauteng, the week the 10th November, then on to KZN/Eastern Cape - probably Durban or East London and then Cape Town and the Western Cape/Winelands. In all these locations I will be running some in-house talks/workshops and open knowledge cafes. But what does sound fun is an open knowledge cafe on a wine farm - I have run the cafes in all sorts of venues but a wine farm will be a first! And somewhere in all of this Louise is arranging a stop over in a bush resort. So it looks like being a very packed but exciting two weeks and I am hugely looking forward to it to seeing South Africa and meeting many of you.
