KM Australia and Gurteen Knowledge CafeTuesday 29 May 2007 09:41 GDT |

To: Gurteen Community Members in Pacific Region I am pleased to tell you that although I won't be attending the KM Australia conference on 23-25 July in Sydney that Dr Helen Paige will be facilitating a Gurteen Knowledge Cafe at the event. Helen is the regional director of my community in Adelaide and has been running knowledge cafes there for the last year or so and is as passionate as I am about them! The Cafes are designed to bring people together to engage in dialogue over issues of common interest with the intent to learn from each other; gain a deeper insight into the topics discussed and to better understand other people's perspectives. Even I am surprised, at times, how much people enjoy them. And have run them just this year alone in Washington DC, Phoenix Arizona, Moscow, Stavanger - Norway, Jakarta and of course London. Come along and find out what they are all about. But of course there is the conference itself! This looks like being a great event with Dave Snowden, Etienne Wenger, Michel Bauwens and Ann Rockley as keynote speakers. And when you register if you mention you are a Gurteen Knowledge Community member you will receive a 15% discount.
