EBRF is an innovative, border-crossing research conference created, in 2001, to understand business in knowledge society and to build a community representing a wide spectrum of perspectives. The 7th EBRF Conference calls for people from different backgrounds to present either fresh ideas or completed research – all in the spirit of building cross-disciplinary co-operation and breakthrough research results.

CONFERENCE PROGRAM

EBRF 2007 brings you to Jyväskylä, the home region of over 140 000 people and a place that boasts for multidisciplinary, high quality and lifelong learning opportunities. In addition to the academic research presentations, the conference program consists of topical invited speeches. The program also offers vast opportunities for networking by leaving room for lively discussions and evening events that provide an inspiring atmosphere for sharing your conference experiences.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

EBRF 2007 calls for abstracts to the following themes:

  • Knowledge Management vs. Management of Knowledge
  • Networked Organizations and Global Business
  • Service Management and Engineering
  • Software Business and Growth
  • Technology Based Business Models

We welcome scientific research papers including case studies. The papers’ topics can range from global phenomena to local problems and cases that are of general interest, and be society, business or technology oriented. Please find further information and submit your abstract (1-3 pages) at www.ebrf.fi. The abstracts will be reviewed by a constructive, international group of senior experts on the themes at hand.

Presentation of an accepted abstract leads to publishing a paper in the conference proceedings. Please note that according to the unique EBRF procedure, presenters will have a few months after the conference to finalize their papers in light of the feedback received at the conference.
