The CII Knowledge Summit, the annual flagship event of the CII Knowledge Council is scheduled for 31 January – 1 February 2012 at the Vivanta by Taj, MG Road, Bangalore.
The CII Knowledge Council for the year 2011 - 2012 is chaired by Mr Ashok Soota, Chairman and Managing Director, Happiest Minds Technologies Pvt Ltd and Co-Chaired Mr Ganesh Natarajan, Vice Chairman & CEO, Zensar Technologies. The CII Mission on Knowledge, in existence since the past five years was created to allow KM practitioners to share, learn, and collaborate so as to effectively manage intellectual capital to gain a competitive edge in the present knowledge driven global economic scenario.
The Knowledge Summit 2012 will focus on ‘KM for Successful Collaborative Enterprises’. In an era where global economies are slowing down and competition is brutal each firm will have to harness all its knowledge capital and use its resources well to succeed. Collaborating within and beyond the firm will be an imperative in every industry.
Knowledge Management has been a capability which truly collaborative enterprises have used to attain and sustain global leadership. The Summit explores the path towards Knowledge Management maturity in key sectors and shares global best practices in KM and collaboration. The judicious mix of better processes enabling technologies and culture and proactive leadership will be discussed and presented by experts and practitioners. At a critical time for India and the world intelligent use of Knowledge Management can and will make the difference.
The CII Knowledge Summit is a well established exclusive platform that has been effectively delivering quality by bringing together leading national and international speakers, to share information on the recent trends and important issues concerning the field of Knowledge Management.
The Summit will be preceded by focused Workshops on 30 January 2012. This will be a unique event with participation of KM experts and practitioners from India and abroad, who will deliberate on key areas of Knowledge Management.
