Chris Pallaris is the Chief Editor of the International Relations and Security Network (ISN) Together with his colleagues, Chris is working to promote the importance of knowledge management and knowledge sharing within the international relations and security community as a means of improving learning, dialog and cooperation. Their efforts have made the ISN one of the fastest-growing, open-access knowledge networks in the academic world, one that includes international organizations, NGOs, government departments and agencies, and dozens of leading think tanks and research institutes. A graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science, Chris has previously worked as a research analyst in the Disputes Analysis and Investigations division of PricewaterhouseCoopers, London, and as a writer, editor and corporate communications consultant. In addition, Chris is also a board member of the European Information Network on International Relations and Area Studies (EINIRAS), and continues to work as a freelance editor and communications consultant. His research interests include the history and evolution of ideas, international relations and security, knowledge management, and the role of IT in improving the effectiveness of the international affairs knowledge worker. Chris is also the regional director for the Gurteen Knowledge Community in Zurich.
