The way we work is changing rapidly, offering an enormous competitive advantage to those who embrace the new tools that enable contextual, agile and simplified information exchange and collaboration to distributed workforces and networks of partners and customers.

Enterprise 2.0 is the term for the technologies and business practices that liberate the workforce from the constraints of legacy communication and productivity tools like email. It provides business managers with access to the right information at the right time through a web of inter-connected applications, services and devices. Enterprise 2.0 makes accessible the collective intelligence of many, translating to a huge competitive advantage in the form of increased innovation, productivity and agility.

This workshop takes a strategic perspective, emphasizing the bigger picture implications of the technology and the exploration of what is at stake for organizations trying to change not only tools, but also culture and process. This workshop provides an in-depth overview of the state of Enterprise 2.0 from grassroots, emergent collaboration to large-scale social media strategy. This tutorial will provide an up-to-date introduction to the material as well as a detailed exploration of the major planks of the subject matter.

The workshop will also focus on how to create clear business outcomes with Enterprise 2.0 including specific methods for achieving better productivity gains, reduced workflow costs, better knowledge retention, and greater harnessing of human ingenuity and organization-wide innovation.

To round-out the session, new areas and emerging techniques for Enterprise 2.0 will be examined including social aggregation, analytics, expertise location, prediction markets, reputation systems, and more.
Beyond discussion of the "why", there will also be in-depth opportunities for learning the "how" that will help you bring Enterprise 2.0 to your business.

This workshop is designed for the following groups:

• CXO's & IT Decision Makers from both Large Enterprises and Small & Medium Businesses [ SMBs ]
• Line of Business Managers - People heading business units within larger companies
