Based in Sydney, this business critical opportunity will cover all aspects of our ANZ and SE Asia training function with 2 direct reports. The role provides exciting opportunities to build stakeholder relationships on a regional scale, at all levels. You will be given significant learning and development related opportunities to make your mark on the firm, responsible for supporting one of the firm’s strategic pillars – Unleashing Potential in our staff and our clients.


This is a busy role in a growing firm, and you’ll have a lot of moving pieces to juggle.  Whilst the role’s priority is to support the local business in ANZ and SE Asia, on a global perspective you’ll be expected to build and leverage strong relationships, whilst communicating daily to your colleagues around the world.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Designing and facilitating key learning programs including inductions, professional development training, and talent programs
  • Providing sound and practicable advice to the business on course design
  • Designing learning pathways with a focus on technology and the future of work
  • Supporting the Consulting team to promote learning outcomes and drive continuous improvement processes of key programs
  • Assisting with the management of training costs and budget
  • Supporting and mentoring team members
  • Providing evaluation reports on learning programs to relevant business stakeholders
  • Providing regular reporting on learning activity and future learning initiatives





This role is ideal for an energetic individual with strong learning experience across a medium or large Corporate or professional services firm. To join our team, the successful candidate can demonstrate:-


  • 5 + years’ experience in professional development and/or instructional design (in a Training or Learning & Development context), ideally in a professional services firm
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrable experience in creating, sourcing and editing a wide range of learning content for classroom and online contexts
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise, multitask and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working in a business partnering role dealing with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Ability to think quickly and flexibly, to learn and synthesise new and/or complex information and examine data and problems carefully
  • Strong decision making skills
  • Demonstrable experience in building strong relationships with senior leaders across the firm
  • Comfort working as part of a broader virtual team and capable of managing stakeholders remotely
  • Previous experience working with technology is highly regarded
  • A passion for growth, innovation and continuous improvement
