Introduction The important role of e-Learning nowadays can be seen as the use of new multimedia technologies and the Internet to improve the quality of learning by facilitating access to resources and services, as well as remote exchanges and collaboration. e-Learning is also seen as a means to advance social inclusion, active citizenship and lifelong personal development. The decision to use e-Learning strategically has already been made. There are hundreds of millions of people everyday learning from a variety of online courses on the Internet. People are turning towards a means of taking control of their own learning which helps them to plan, manage and adjust learning strategies to suit their purposes. By and large people have figured out how to make the best of the technology for themselves. Recognising that this is the case, and not how to promote e-Learning, should shape e-Learning providers' approach. What role can e-Learning providers play? How can e-Learning providers enhance support for current e-Learning users? How can e-Learning providers make the resources the learners want available to them? In terms of public policy, how can e-Learning providers address the traditional objectives of education in an environment where people are now making their own learning decisions? E-Learning providers may need to stop thinking of themselves as being the total solution providers, and start thinking from a service and support role perspective. Aims The 2nd ‘Amazing e-Learning’ conference's aims are: 1) To create an opportunity for educational institutes, human resource units, e-learning product and service providers, from both public and private sections, to meet and exchange information and technology in educational administration, in order to utilize new technologies for the reduction of cost of human resource development in an organization. 2) To establish e-learning collaborative network among universities from Thailand and around the world. 3) To serve as a stage for exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as publicize academic research and articles on e-learning to international audience. 4) To serve as a venue for demonstration of various e-learning products and service, such as courseware, hardware, and software from leading companies from Thailand and countries over the world, for future education. Themes The scope of the conference includes but is not limited to the following topics: e-Learning in both theoretical and technological perspectives, edutainment, hardware, software development, digital content, instructional design, LMS, LCMS, systems integration, content standards, and collaboration. Therefore, all e-Learning topics are welcome. For more information please check the conference site.
