Looking for a place to learn through conversation with a multi-disciplinary group of involved, engaged people who value making a difference and taking action? This invitation provides complimentary access to a network of people who enjoy exploring ideas related to passion, commitment, knowledge, creativity, and innovation in the context of diverse professional responsibilities.
Please join us at our next NYC Knowledge Cafe on Monday, November 19th from 6pm to 8:30pm at Perkins Eastman (19th Street & Fifth Avenue), New York City. TOPIC: Knowledge Transfer through Informal Networks: to See the (W)hole. What are formal/informal networks and why are they important? How do you make purposeful connections? How do informal networks contribute to understanding the organization as a whole? These are just few of possible questions to start the evening's conversations.
This event is hosted by Perkins Eastman. Special thanks for Jennifer Carrel, Director of Knowledge Management, for her support of this final cafe of 2007 and for upcoming bi-monthly cafes in 2008.
New York City is an exciting place for David Gurteen's vision of learning communities. The first and only USA-based cafe launched in July 2005 and since then knowledge management directors, psychologists, IT professionals, organizational consultants, physicians, and artists have been among those who have attended. Due to space limitations, reservations are required.
To reserve your space, please reply via email suzrof@msn.com.
