As background, in July of 2005, over 40 people gathered together with founder David Gurteen to launch the first New York City Knowledge Cafe. In Spring 2006 our second cafe included over 30 people. With growing interest and momentum, this will be our third event with NYC Knowledge Cafes scheduled every two months from now on.
Professionals who understand the power of conversation and dialog participate in the cafe which is free to the community. All that is asked of you is your agreement to receive the free monthly knowledge letter courtesy of David Gurteen.
What is the Gurteen Knowledge Cafe? They are "learning communities...their purpose is to bring people together to learn from each other in order to make a difference. They are about networking, knowledge sharing and learning from each other. The outcome for the participants includes takeaways that they can act on and do both differently and immediately."
Please join a network with people interested in having conversations about knowledge. This upcoming cafe will focus on knowledge sharing in the 21st century organization.
