The third knowledge cafe of the Gurteen Zurich Knowledge Community will take place on Wednesday 29th November.

This cafe will examine the issue of education in knowledge management and will explore the training and learning support solutions needed to allow knowledge workers to perform more effectively.

In a slight change of venue, the event will take place in Basel to coincide with the Certified Knowledge Manager workshop that is scheduled to take place there.

Refreshments will be served from 5.30pm and the cafe itself will begin around 6pm.

This event is generously sponsored by Douglas Connect  and the KM Institute Switzerland .

The participation of these two organizations will enable participants to meet and put their questions to Douglas Weidner, Chairman of the International Knowledge Management Institute; Pavel Kraus, President of the Swiss Knowledge Management Forum; Beat Knechtli, Director and Corporate Knowledge Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Switzerland; and Barry Hardy, Director of the KM Institute Switzerland.

2. What kind of support for knowledge management activities do you currently have?  What solutions are not available and what do you imagine they could be like?

A reminder that the cafe is open to all. Friends and colleagues of existing community members that have an interest in knowledge management and its related disciplines are also welcomed to attend.

If you would like to attend or have any questions regarding the cafe, please contact Chris Pallaris at  pallaris@sipo.gess.ethz.ch, or on +41 (0) 44 632 0754 (office), or +41 (0)79 232 9725 (mobile).
