I introduced the concept of the knowledge cafe to a group of head librarians from central banks around the world at this conference at Christ's College, Cambridge and then run a cafe on the theme: "How can librarians and information professionals make a more effective contribution to improving how knowledge is managed in their organizations? What are the barriers that need to be overcome and how might you overcome them?"
