Talking together We often end up using the same routine discussion models in our conversation. People talk in a predictable way and new ideas are not created. How could we find a creative way of talking together so that the conversation produces new, innovative ideas? Thinking together Working together Dynamic interaction means thinking together. An open and enthusiastic atmosphere in an organization produces dynamic interaction, and enables the work community to find faster new solutions to challenges deriving from the environment. Good interaction is an ability to make observations in different situations and to analyze one’s own and others’ experiences. Creative interaction is the ability to create situations where new ideas and action models are born. The aim of this Workshop is to help participants clarify and understand the complexity of work communities. The Workshop will focus on promoting in practice work communities’ diversity and creativity. A creative learning ‘state’ is reached by working together. In this ‘state’ one’s own experiences of the dynamics of interaction situations can be observed and understood. As experts of developing analysis, interaction and intensive discussion, the following professionals will be present in the Workshop: Ralph Stacey, Douglas Griffin and Esko Kilpi. Focal to learning is participants’ own activeness, interaction and experts’ cooperation in supporting the experiences and observations gained. Professor Ralph Stacey is Director and professor Douglas Griffin Associate Director of the Complexity and Management Centre at the Business School of the University of Hertfordshire, England. They are internationally renowned researchers of business culture and sought-after consultants of business management. Managing Director Esko Kilpi works as advisor in business management in Esko Kilpi Oy and also acts as international researcher and trainer. The Workshop is aimed at directors, managers, project and team leaders and business development professionals. The
focus and goal of the time together will be an active deepening of our
understanding of the unique perspective of complexity and its relation
to creativity.
