Gurteen Knowledge Conferences
The fundamental purpose of these conferences is to provide education, help and support to "knowledge workers" in all industries and at all levels to be more innovative in their thinking and their approach to their work and thus to be hugely more effective and productive.
Principals include:
Gurteen Knowledge Conference, Managing Organizational Complexity, London, March 3rd 2004
- a focus on the individual and the role of the 'knowledge worker' in transforming organizations and 'getting things done'
- practical, pragmatic, action oriented material and sessions that focus on action and new innovative ways of working rather than academic concepts or theories
- sow the seeds of new ideas and challenge existing views of the world and ways of working
- recognize that there are no simple answers or prescriptions to many of the challenges facing modern organizations and so provide a 'smorgasbord' of concepts, ideas and tools that people may choose from, adapt and apply in their own organizations.
- top quality speakers/facilitators who are leaders in their field
- speakers who are more 'facilitators' than 'teachers' and who take a more open interactive , participatory approach rather than 'chalk and talk' or 'slow death by Powerpoint'
- provide an environment that encourages and supports inter-personal networking
- encourage people to learn from each other - not just the speakers
- focus on people and less so on technology
- build a sense of community spirit with the same people attending many of the events and getting to know each other
Gurteen Knowledge Workshops
Gurteen Knowledge Conference, Managing Organizational Complexity, London, March 3rd 2004
Gurteen Knowledge Workshops share many of the same principals as the Gurteen Knowledge Conferences but are different in that they are 1 or 2 day workshops run for a small group of people by an expert in his or her field on a specific topic.
Both conferences and workshops are listed below:
My apologies but there is a temporary problem displaying list information on some of the pages of this site. You may wish to return later.
